This road is a long winding dual carriageway but after about 9 miles take the slip road signed Barry and Penarth, go right under the road you have just left, pass 3 or 4 traffic lights on the roundabout and continue to follow signs to Barry and Penarth on a dual carriageway until you reach a major crossroads with more lights and filter left at first exit signed Penarth (A4160)

Follow Penarth signs until in Penarth shopping centre; (Windsor Road)

At roundabout with clock on top
carry straight on (Windsor Terrace)
Take next left (Church Road)
First right into Bradford Place just past Albany flats
Fork right into Beach Lane
Rock House is Number 9;
Look for our garage on the right by street light No 2.
Park in Beach Lane (not in our next door neighbour's back garden!)
Entrance to the house is a narrow pedestrian passage next to the slate Rock House sign.
Come through back garden to door at left side of house.
